Miri CARES for You Rewarding Campaign
Terms and Conditions
1.1 This campaign aims at promoting interaction between resident in Miri (Mirian) and the Miri City Council (MCC) through the use of Miri CARES software application.
1.2 Participation is open to all Mirian whom is having an active copy of Sarawak Smart City App and login with the Sarawak ID. It is free of charge and no payment or purchase is required
1.3 The campaign promotions on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, or any other social networks.
1.4 The particulars of the participants will be used solely for the purpose of this campaign only
2. Eligibility and entry restrictions
2.1 Submission comply to the following conditions shall be eligible:
a. Participant must be a real person, at least 18 years old and permanently reside in the city of Miri (proof of address or age may be required).
b. Participants must not be the staff, employee, officer or agent, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the campaign, including their family members.
c. Participants must have a valid and active Sarawak ID and must submit the suggestions through Miri CARES software application
2.2 There are no limit on the number of submissions per person.
3. Start and end dates.
3.1 The campaign shall commence on first day of the month and shall close on the last day of the month during the campaign period.
3.2 The organizer will not be responsible for any submission not received.
3.3 The organizer reserves the rights to amend the Terms and Conditions of this campaign, including the early termination and/or extension of the closing dates without prior notice. Any changes to the campaign will be announced to entrants through Miri City Council Website.
3.4 Submissions of participants will be deemed as acceptance of all the terms and conditions of this campaign.
4.1 Suggestions submitted shall be original and shall bring about the following benefits:
a. Improve the overall living quality of Mirian
b. Make Miri a safer and convenient place to live and work
c. Provide leads that allow MCC to carry out pre-emptive actions
4.2 The decisions of the organiser will be final and no appeals will be entertained.
5. Winners and rewards
5.1 Ten (10) winners will be selected in each month within the period of this campaign and the winners will be announced (Based on the Case Number) on Miri City Council Website.
5.2 Winners will be announced through Miri City Council Website within the following month and only the Case Number will be published to ensure confidentiality.
5.3 Winners will be notified privately via email or through phone calls from the Miri City Council,
5.4 Winners shall collect the prize personally at the service counter of Public Relation Section (SPA), Ground floor, Miri City Council main building or as informed by the Council representative to the winner. Prizes will be forfeited if the prizes are not collected within 30 days following the announcement of the results of the month.
5.5 The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The organizer reserves the rights to substitute any prizes with alternative prizes of equivalent value without prior notice.
6. Campaign Periods
The campaign runs from 1st February 2021 till 30th June 2021.
