SECTION 7(C) LOCAL AUTHORITIES RATING REGULATION 1997
For owners of holdings who are unable to pay the assessment rates, you may apply for a partial or full reduction or exemption of the assessment rates for the relevant year. Please attach evidence such as a recent welfare card or relevant documents to support your application.
Applications can be made via the remission application form which can be download from the Miri City Council website or at the Miri City Council office counter or you can apply in writing to the Rating and Valuation Division of the Miri City Council.
Please note that this application must be made every year.
