Miri City Council is committed to providing quality basic services in a professional manner, in line with the objectives of meeting customer satisfaction, complying with all applicable legal requirements, and enhancing the sustainability and resilience of the organization.
This policy can be achieved through:
1. Continuous improvement of basic services within the Council's jurisdiction, in line with Government policies and goals, including taking into account aspects of climate risk management and the impact of environmental change.
2. Comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System standard (MS ISO 9001:2015) to ensure that service quality, risk management and operational continuity are constantly improved.
3. Creating a conducive working environment, supporting innovation, sustainability awareness and adaptation to climate change.
4. Increasing quality and competent human resources, including training related to risk management, sustainability and disaster management to ensure the organization is resilient and responsive.
